Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is one of my favorite films of the last five years.  I missed it when it was in theaters because it seemed like it would be another lousy adaptation of a beloved kid’s book.  I couldn’t have been more wrong, and the movie gets better every time I see it.  Even though the sequel has different writers and directors, I still have high expectations for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and I’ve been very encouraged by what I’ve seen so far.

I’m pleased to announce we’re giving away 10 family four-packs to the Atlanta screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.  Hit the jump to find out how you can see the movie early and for free.  The film features the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Will Forte, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, and James CaanCloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 opens in 3D on September 27th.

To enter for a chance to get you and up to three guests into the movie, send an e-mail to Collider.Passes@gmail.com with the subject line “CLOUDY 2”. The screening is on Saturday, September 21st at 10AM at Regal Atlantic Station in 3D, so don’t enter if you think you’ll be unavailable. Please note that a pass is not a ticket. To guarantee a seat, please arrive at the theater early since seating is first come, first serve.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer:

Here’s the official synopsis for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2:

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s mouth-watering comedy left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention — a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes. But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals – “foodimals!”  Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other foodimals to save the world – again!
