Anthony Hopkins is getting some company in the supernatural serial killer thriller Solace. The story centers on a former doctor with psychic abilities who gets roped in by the FBI to aid in a serial killer case. Hopkins signed on to star as the supernaturally-charged doctor quite a while ago, and now Deadline reports that Colin Farrell has been set to star as the FBI detective who brings Hopkins’ character into the fold. He also just signed on to star opposite Jessica Chastain in the stage play adaptation Miss Julie. The actor will next be seen alongside Noomi Rapace in the thriller Dead Man Down.
