The highly anticipated Warner Bros film Batman v Superman is still 6 months away from hitting theatres on March 25th 2016, but we now have the film’s official rating from the MPAA. The rating will be a PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.” Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Over the last few years there has been several items of speculation and rumors surrounding a possible feature film version of the popular TV series Game Of Thrones. Now you can add more fuel to that fire as Game Of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin reportedly confirmed its existence in a new interview.

BUY OR SELL

The original Disney hit film Enchanted hit theatres back in 2007, and while there have been rumblings of a possible sequel for years, no discernible movement has ever taken place. However, according to our own Collider.com, there may actually be legitimate life in those plans. According to the new report Disney is now moving forward with the sequel which has the working title of Disenchanted. The Proposal, Hot Pursuit and The Guilt Trip director Anne Fletcher is attached to helm the film with no official word yet on who, if anyone, from the original cast will return. The original film starred Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey, and Susan Sarandon and made over $340 million at the box office.

What was widely reported earlier has now been made official. Universal Pictures has indefinitely postponed the planned Pacific Rim sequel. Originally slated for release on August 4th 2017, the spot has now been given to Pitch Perfect 3 instead. Universal put out the following statement: “Legendary’s ‘Pacific Rim 2,’ originally scheduled for release on August 4, 2017, will be redated at a later time. The filmmakers, Legendary and Universal Pictures are committed to having ‘Pacific Rim 2,’ the sequel to 2013’s ‘Pacific Rim,’ which generated more $411 million at the global box office, be the vanguard, fully-immersive experience that the franchise deserves. To this end, the decision was made to delay the production and release of ‘Pacific Rim’ so that the creative team can continue in its efforts to exceed the amazing experience of the first film.

Tomas writes: I still haven’t seen any trailer for the new Ben Hur remake. It’s not that far off until its release. Is this something to be concerned about?

Dylan Peyton Levsen writes:  Hey guys! My question is as follows; who do you think should be nominated for an Oscar for best actor/actress so far this year? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Alejandro Cortes writes: Hey Collider Crew! My question is, with Ghostbusters coming out soon and the recent Fantastic Four movie being remade; and now with news that a new Goonies movie may be remade, why doesn’t Hollywood focus on making original movies? I’m getting so sick of movies being remade because I want to see something new and original. Kinda glad to hear that The Crow production has been halted. I know you guys welcome remakes, but at what point will it be enough? Thanks!
