Speaking of the aforementioned Ridley Scott, another project the director has in the works is a follow up to his film Prometheus. The director recently said the title of that new film would be Alien: Paradise Lost, however, while speaking at the AFI Film Festival it looks like they’ve changed it up a bit. While talking about his current film The Martian, Scott said the following: “I was going to be doing what will be called ‘Alien: Covenant,’ which starts shooting next February, and we were struggling then with the screenplay there and then there was a phone call, somebody saying, ‘Listen, we’ve got this thing which is completely written called ‘Martian,’ and I said, ‘Huh.’ And I sped read it in an hour and by mid-afternoon, I talked to Fox…”.

According to a story in The Hollywood Reporter, comedian Tracy Morgan will continue his comeback in the upcoming Richard Pryor biopic Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?. The report claims that Morgan is in negotiations to play Redd Foxx, the star of the famous TV show Sanford and Son who gave Pryor his start in comedy. Morgan will be joining Eddie Murphy who plays Pryor’s father Leroy Pryor, Taraji P. Henson as Pryor’s mother Gertrude L.
