According to a recent interview with Men In Black producer Laurie MacDonald, new installments of the franchise will soon be on the way. This time one of the leads will be a woman and Will Smith won't likely return. Her producing partner Walter Parkes also said this about the new installments: “We sort of looked at the first three in retrospect as a bit of a trilogy. We tried to tell a story about those two characters and that relationship, It sounds silly because it’s a fun, science fiction comedy but when you work on these things you sort of try to find some thematic basis underneath it. Now we are looking at a reinvention, but it’s a wonderful world to get back into.

As many of you know Zoolander 2 is heading to theaters on February 12th and launched its first trailer recently. Now, Paramount has announced that the trailer has become the most successful trailer launch for a comedy ever, accumulating over 52 million views in its first week of release. Ben Still described Zoolander 2 this way: “It’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later – though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them.”

Batman V Superman is still 4 months away, but the marketing machine for the film is starting to get kicked into high gear. Fox recently announced that a brand new sneak peek for the film is coming that will be featured on Fox’s show Gotham tonight.

As many of you remember, last year it was announced that Iron Man 3 director Shane Black would be working on a new Predator film for Fox. A lot of time has passed between then and now and fans have recently been wondering if the new film was even still getting made. Well wonder no more. Black’s co-writer for the new film, Fred Dekker, has just revealed on his facebook page that the script for the new Predator has now been completed and turned in to Fox. In a recent interview with Collider, producer John Davis said the following: “The writing is so fresh, the perspective is so fresh. I’m telling you you’re going to get something you don’t expect and you’re going to say, ‘This is the most entertaining way to reinvent a franchise.’

Over the Thanksgiving Day break a new poster and trailer for the upcoming Pride and Prejudice and Zombies hit the web. A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (played by Cinderella’s Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield.

There was some comments made during the Jimmy Kimmel interview with the two of them heading back to Atlanta for more filming but the movies already scheduled to film there have no parts for the two of them.
