With the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War hitting theatres on May 6th, many fans have wondered how much of a Captain America movie it will actually be considering how big the cast is. With characters like Iron Man, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man, Vision, Hawkeye, War Machine, Black Panther and others all in the film, isn’t it more like AVENGERS 2.5? “Not So” says Marvel president Kevin Feige who recently said the following about the upcoming film: “It is very much Cap’s story. It’s very much a sequel to ‘The Winter Soldier. It’s very much, in a certain way, the completion of a Captain America trilogy. I think one day you’ll look back and watch — Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War — and it’ll be one of the most unique and different trilogies ever around a single character.”

Speaking of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige also took some time to talk about the upcoming Phase 3 films which kicks off with the aforementioned Captain America: Civil War. In particular he discussed the fact that a lot of casting announcements are coming very soon. He said the following: “I think we’ll be having a whole slew of casting announcements over the next few months. Before the end of the year. I think that on both Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and some other films.”

It looks like the Critic’s Choice Awards are combining into one single show. According to reports A&E is going to merge the existing “The Critics’ Choice Television Awards” and “The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards” into a single 3 hour ceremony on January 17th. The Critic’s Choice Awards are the honors given out by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) and the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA). John, buy or sell the Critic’s Choice Awards combining the movie and television sides into one single awards ceremony?

As many of you will remember, the film Rings, a sequel to the horror film The Ring, was set to hit theatres in just 6 weeks on November 16th. However, according to a report in Variety, Paramount Pictures has decided to push the film back to an unspecified date sometime in 2016. Rings stars Alex Roe as Holt, a young man who begins to become distant from his girlfriend, Julia (played by Matilda Lutz), after watching the infamous deadly videotape the series is known for.
