This topic contains spoilers for the movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, so if you haven’t seen it and don’t want to get spoiled please skip ahead. You have been warned. In an interview with IGN, comic book writer Mark Millar talked about the sequel to the Matthew Vaughn directed movie that was based on Millar’s comic book series The Secret Service. When asked about the possibility of Colin Firth returning for the next movie, Millar said this:
“That’s the conversation everyone’s having right now, because part of what made that movie work is Colin. Colin’s fantastic, it was a two-hander, that film. You also want to have the integrity of the story, so if you are bringing him back, it has to make sense. That’s where it is at at the moment. Beats of the story have been done. [Screenplay co-writers] Matthew [Vaughn] and Jane [Goldman] are working on it at the moment. Some things have to be worked out, some decisions have still to be made and everything, so it’s all fairly amorphous, but all going well.”
A new trailer for the upcoming Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu film The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio has been released. Dicaprio stars as Hugh Glass a legendary explorer that survives a near fatal attack from a bear but is left for dead by members of his own hunting team. Glass must navigate his way through the cold winter to survive. The movie also stars Tom Hardy, Domnhall Gleeson and Will Poulter. The Revenant opens on Christmas Day in limited release and expands in January 2016.

The Weinstein Company has released a new trailer for the upcoming Bradley Cooper movie Burnt directed by John Wells. In the film, Cooper plays Adam Jones, a talented but temperamental chef whose terrible behavior has cost him everything he worked hard for. Jones is determined to redeem himself and earn back the respect and trust from the people he let down. The movie opens on October 2nd and also stars Sienna Miller, Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman and Lily James.
While promoting his new film Pay The Ghost, Nicolas Cage spoke to Newsweek about not only that movie but movies he’s done in the past and even ones he turned down like Lord of the Rings and The Matrix. He explained that he didn’t have any regrets and thought regrets were a waste of time. He then was asked about which directors he’d like to work with in the future that he hadn’t already. Cage replied:
“I would love to work with Paul Thomas Anderson. I think that he’s one of the greats. And he’s certainly a true artist. Quentin Tarantino and I, the two of us could really do something quite special. But I remain positive and hopeful that it will eventually happen.”

Hey collider movie crew! My question is about movie watching etiquette. Recently, I was watching a movie with some friends. While I was TRYING to watch the movie, two of my friends were having a conversation, one friend was watching a video on his phone (full volume), and the host was playing with her dog! Then, when I asked them to be quiet, they got mad at me! What gives? Why do some people just not understand the concept of being quiet during movies? Thanks so much!

Hi Collider Movie crew! We have been watching you since before our baby was born and we swear your voices help her fall asleep at night 🙂
My question is: where is your favorite place to sit in the theatre? Why? Thank you so much!

Hey Collider crew! With Oscar buzz starting up for some films, I had a couple of Oscar related questions. Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are two of my favorite actors, but neither actor has any Oscar nominations. Do you think either of them will get nominated this year with Hardy in Legend and The Revenant, and JGL in The Walk and Snowden? Also, who do you think are the best actors and actresses who haven’t been nominated? Thanks for giving movie fans great episodes everyday!
