As most of you have already noticed, we launched a new version of Collider less than a week ago. While we still have a number of bugs and tweaks to deal with on the new site, so far we’re all enjoying the new format.
Anyway, since a new start means you should get rid of the old, I’m posting the biggest giveaway I’ve ever done on Collider. Not only do I have tons of great DVD’s to giveaway, I’ve also emptied the “Collider closet” and I’m going to giveaway tons of random t-shirts, hats, books, video games…all the swag that I get mailed is going to go to all of you. I’ve seriously got a ton of stuff filling up a few boxes and I swear all of it is being mailed out to winners.
Since there is so much stuff, if you win you’ll get an email from me saying you’ve won and what you get will be a surprise. I’m just going to print out all the winners info and fill mailers and small boxes with the swag and DVDs. Think of it like a Christmas present….except it’s the summer.
So you’re probably asking how you can win something. Here’s what you need to do….
In the headline say COLLIDER’s NEW SITE MEANS I GET FREE SWAG
In the body of the email please provide the answers to the 3 questions plus your mailing address. If you win, you’ll get an email from me and soon after you’ll get something in the mail.
Finally, this contest ends June 20th at noon Pacific Time and is only open to residents of the United States. Also, only one entry per person is allowed. More than one and I’ll just deleted all your entries.
Here are the three questions and further down are images and info on what you can win. Of course this contest wouldn’t be possible without the PR firms and the various studios that make it happen. So a big thanks to them. Also, a big thank you to all of you for continuing to read the site.

Banana Republic is giving me a $100 dollar gift card to giveaway.
They’re doing it to promote a compilation that contains 9 exclusive tracks, including the first tracks from OK Go and Liz Phair’s upcoming albums. To promote it they had the artists involved name their favorite music venues, places to eat, personal style, and city spots to go to for inspiration.
The limited edition digital album, available as a gift-with-purchase only in Banana Republic stores starting May 13, reflects the diversity of these artists, ranging from acoustic soul to introspective pop, modern jazz to indie rock.
Paris-based R&B songstress Ayo sings of her travels through European metropolises, while Sara Bareilles and Dashboard Confessional search for love amid the bars and streets of their adopted cities. Both acclaimed violinist David Garrett and Grammy-winning saxophonist David Sánchez find solace at dawn in the canyons of Manhattan, and Latin pop star Tommy Torres and emerging jazz bassist/vocalist Esperanza Spalding celebrate their beloved hometowns (San Juan and Portland, respectively) across the continent from each other. Among the tantalizing selections are brand new songs from Liz Phair and OK Go’s highly anticipated new albums due later in 2009, only available to customers who make a purchase in Banana Republic stores during the campaign.
