This week on The Collision, we’re joined by Haleigh Foutch to talk about Godzilla.  During our conversation, we talked about why we like Gareth Edwards‘ film, how it bucks against the current trend of blockbusters, the franchise’s history, criticisms of the thin plot and characters, why this movie succeeded at the box office while Pacific Rim failed, and more.  As always, we finish up with our recommendations.

why don’t you ever have women on the podcast? It’s hard to get both sides when just dudes talk.

      Haleigh is a woman.

So apparently my new headset is bad in a different way! It doesn’t have the crappy humming, but it picks up my breathing (and I don’t breathe through my mouth) and the mic is as far away from my face as it can go.

So if you have any suggestions for a quality headset, let me know.

Guys, please pay attention to the balance! The imbalance of the sound really hurts the ears, especially when it was one of the host talking and laughing (especially when the latter)… really like the podcast, but please try to make them all sound in the same frequency or rather volume. I know this is probably caused by the different headset you guys are wearing, but I’m hoping for the best for you guys and the site.
