This week on The Collision, we talk about Man of Steel, its strengths, its flaws, implications for the sequel, finding the core of superhero characters, how far you can stray from the comics, “Marvel movies vs. DC Films”, and much more.  As always we finish up with our recommendations.

Great trailers and reccomendations. I would have never thought about the toxic avenger. And when frequency came out, as a child it appeared to me as a sci-fi horror movie. I know crazy right!

Saying Nolan hates comic books is ignorant as hell. Loads of stuff in the Dark Knight trilogy was taken directly from the comic books, but used to craft original stories.

Bordering on dumb, actually. Sorry, I don’t want to be one of those people on the internet who come to a site, read the articles, listen to the podcasts only to go to the comments and say “you suck, Collider!” Because you generally don’t. And I haven’t even listened to the podcast yet. But that is not a smart thing to say.
