On preview night at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, DC Collectibles unveiled a sneak peek at DC Films’ newest action figures, expansions to the 1990’s animated television lines, and more DC Bombshells.
Here’s a first look at the 2017 slate of figures that add onto the exclusive line of toys and collector items from DC Entertainment. Wednesday attendees were invited to see the roll out of items, which included figures from Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman, and a special look at Wonder Woman releases. We got more detailed looks at the official cinematic characterizations of DC heroes and villains like Jared Leto’s Joker, Will Smith’s Deadshot, and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also got some attention with new figures, which include Knightmare Batman. Unique accessories included, each figure boasts 30 points of articulation.
Also on display were stunning 6.75’’ DC Bombshell action figures as well as the Batman: The Animated Series toy and for the first time a line inspired by Superman: The Animated Series made its debut. The first figures of which will be a double pack of Lois Lane and Superman. Also on display were current DC live action television figures for The Flash and Arrow.
A highlight of the event was the celebration of Wonder Woman’s 75th anniversary. All incarnations of the Amazon Princess were on prominent display including Gadot’s. The table even had real props from the film like Wonder Woman’s golden lasso and shield. There was also a fun piece that included Diana in her invisible jet. The commemorative display of upcoming figures will be shown at the DC Booth on the show floor.
