Comic-Con has unveiled its schedule for Friday, July 22 of this year, and in a bit of an unexpected but not altogether surprising move, the convention’s biggest venue Hall H is almost entirely TV centric. Panels for Game of Thrones and AMC dramas Preacher, The Walking Dead, and Fear the Walking Dead headline the Hall H offerings, with Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen reuniting for the two-hour Preacher panel which Smith will moderate. But perhaps more excitingly there’s another “Conversation with Joss Whedon” panel—last year the writer/filmmaker got candid about Age of Ultron and his work with Marvel, so this is sure to be a 2016 highlight. Moreover, South Park is taking the main stage to celebrate the show’s 20th season and preview the upcoming video game South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
Elsehwere, Ballroom 20 will play host to the world premiere of Batman: The Killing Joke and feature panels for The 100 and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Check out more of the schedule highlights below, click here for the entire rundown, and click here for the Wednesday/Thursday schedule. And be sure to mark your calendars for Collider’s extensive coverage from Comic-Con 2016 later this month.
