If you’re in San Diego right now for Comic-Con, you won’t be able to throw a rock without hitting a piece of advertising. It’s kind of incredible how the city transforms to promote countless geek properties not only inside the convention center, but throughout the Gaslamp District.
Steve Weintraub arrived in San Diego today, and quickly took to snapping photos of banners for upcoming shows, new seasons, and the South Park experience, which lets visitors go through a pop-up downtown South Park. This is my first time not attending Comic-Con in eight years, and I’m a little bummed I won’t get to check out the pop-up South Park, which should make for a bunch of fun photos.
We’ll have plenty more Comic-Con photos for you in the days ahead along with a deluge of coverage of all the panels, press conferences, interviews, and much more. Stay tuned.
