Comic-Con: Watch Loki (Tom Hiddleston) Take Over Hall H; Plus Watch the Entire Marvel Panel

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was just about to discuss Thor: The Dark World at Marvel’s Comic-Con panel last night when his microphone was cut and the lights went out.  In walked Loki in search of an army.  Because he is as beautiful and charismatic as Tom Hiddleston, he quickly won over the masses.  We found a better quality video this morning, because you need to see Hiddleston shout “Say my name!” to the Hall H crowd.

Hit the jump to see the Loki clip along with video of the entire Marvel panel (minus the footage).  Thor: The Dark World opens November 8.

  • Django3000

The showmanship of this lil’ movie promotion. Wow. Fuh-mazing ~ wish I’d have been there too hahaha

  • kps

That was awesome. I wish they weren’t so secretive with all their footage.

      I agree
But at the same time there has to be a reward for those that waited hours if not all day for this.
Hopefully after D23 we’ll get treated to the footage

You’d think just being there in-person to witness pop-culture history, surrounded by your peers, would be enough. After all, no less people go to football games simply because they could* sit at home and watch it on TV. ;)

    so corny

you gotta love Tom Hiddleston’s enthusiasm and love for Loki. he seems to genuinely enjoy the role, and it shows. i think it makes his performance even better, and it makes me like Tom Hiddleston even more

    • highly_suspicious

Absolutely. Entusiasm is infectious, and when you bring talent and charisma, it’s a triple threat.
I can’t imagine anyone else in the role anymore!

  • TheAvengersSucks

    Wimpiest villain evarrr!

  • Bobby Lane

So is Loki’s appearance at Hall H a part of the canonical Marvel Cinematic Universe?

  • Raptor Jesus

Thor may be a demi-God but Loki is a GOD.

    • Murdoch

Agreed. Its very hard to do a superhero movie where the villain is truly memorable. I can’t think of another of Loki’s popularity in all of Marvel. I don’t think that will change with the next couple of movies either.

I think it also has a lot to do with the actor’s affinity for the character, much like RDJ loves the Tony Stark persona, and it seems like Tom Hiddleston has a similar love for Loki.

Either you forgot Magneto or you’re only talking about Marvel Studios movies. And if that’s the case then I do have to agree with you.

      • Murdoch

MARVEL Studios. I actually thought Doc Ock & Green Goblin were fantastic, as was Dr Doom for some moments.

Good sport…or perhaps in his contract? Either way fun!!

This is how you do it. You’d think that actors would dress up as their movie characters more often when meeting rabid fans, but nope.

The real glue that holds the Marvel films together. Sorry Sam Jackson.

You’re kidding, right? (I assume that you mean Loki) Hiddleston is an awesome Loki, but by the character’s very nature, can’t hold anything – never mind Marvel films – together.

Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury is the character that assembled the Avengers (so far) the most awesome group of superheroes on film.

And Loki has done…(and I have to repeat: I am not being critical of Hiddleston, but Agent777’s comment)
