Community has never been a ratings hit for NBC, but the network seems to be busting out a considerable marketing budget for the upcoming fifth season.  Moreover, these promos feel like executive producer Dan Harmon had a very heavy hand in their creation.  The initial season five trailer took the “movie trailer” route, and now a new holiday-themed animated trailer has been released online.  It’s filled with some fun gags and the show’s trademark meta humor, which bodes well for its return following a lackluster season four.  With creator Harmon now back in the fold as showrunner, the shenanigans should be aplenty in the upcoming season.
