Last month, we showed you a brief trailer for David Cronenberg‘s adaptation of Don DeLillo‘s Cosmopolis, which featured a potentially surprising and exciting turn from star Robert Pattinson. In the film, Pattinson plays a newlywed billionaire who ends up losing his bride and his billions in a single day. Two full trailers have now gone online, and Cronenberg is the star of both. Pattinson still looks good, but these trailers show off a David Cronenberg surrealism we haven’t seen in some time. And judging by these trailers, it’s very good to have it back.
Hit the jump to check out the trailers. The film also stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, and Mathieu Amalric. Cosmopolis will premiere next month at the Cannes Film Festival.

Maybe it’s because I’m really tired, but I don’t have a clue what the hell this movie is about.
Cronenberg is a Genius and who knew Pattinson had it in him..looks AWESOME……
How sexy is Juliette Binoche in this trailer, huh?
why every dialog is like a quote and pattinson say it like reading poetry. i don’t implying it bad, just weird. but everything is beyond weird about this movie.
Have you read any Don Delilo before? This really does capture his writing style so maybe you just aren’t familiar with that.
no, i haven’t.i’m from asia and not familiar with his work. maybe after i watch the movie coz i like twist at the end of the movie. i hope david made a great film based on that book though
haha yeah I read “White Noise” and it was straight up hipsters making pretentious philosophical statements throughout.
It was also really bizarre and surreal. Can’t f***ing wait to see what Cronenberg does with the source material.
This movie can be either really really good or god awful
This movie will be different from the book, always is usually..SO DON’T read the book and go see the movie cos all of yous will be thinking about the book when you are suppose to jus relax and watch the movie, totally different concept..I never read the book first or don’t read the book at all, a no brainer really!..the trailer for it looks wicked as btw!.
The movie will be different than the book, usually is, soooo….
SO don’t read the book and go see the movie then, cos you will ‘be thinking’ about the book instead of relaxing and jus watching the movie..I never read the book first or I don’t read the book at all, a no brainer really!…the trailer for it looks wicked as btw!.
Love tha Crone!!!
Pattison?
Here’s hoping he shocks me!
This looks utterly whack.
“They want to hold off the future”
“That’s a scandal man”
Say no more…
