The CW continues to flesh out its fall slate, picking up the pilots for an updated La Femme Nikita series as well as a new family drama from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. Nikita continues the CW’s recent trend of recycling television from the 90s but, in this iteration, the series will begin essentially where the original Luc Besson filmed ended, with Nikita going rouge. The series will then introduce a new assassin who will be trained to replace her. McG (Human Target) is signed on to executive produce.
The producing team of Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino latest attempt to recapture that Gilmore magic. The new series, still untitled, will be a family drama set on a Wyoming horse farm. More details as they come. [THR]

I'm not sure how interesting a TV show about an assassin that turns red will be.
