This past summer we got our first look at the long-developing revival of the classic series Dallas, and now TNT has debuted the first trailer and damn is it melodramatic. Honestly, it looks like this show is only going to hit with the older demographics who remember what it was like to watch J.R. get shot back in the day. If anything, the visual look rather striking, and it’s interesting seeing old cast members like Patrick Duffy back in a somewhat high profile series like this again. Who knows, maybe this will get a younger generation into some classic TV. Judge for yourself by watching the trailer after the jump.

I am honestly unsure what to think of this. I wasn’t that much of a fan of the original, and this doesn’t show that the new characters are really bringing anything. Oh well.
