The Hollywood Reporter has the news that the great Danny Huston has been cast in Ridley Scott’s updated “Robin Hood” feature (which I still believe is going by the catchy “Untitled”). Huston will play King Richard alongside Russell Crowe’s titular man in tights. If you are not familiar with the name Danny Huston that’s because he is one of those insanely talented British character actors that effortlessly blends in to whichever film he is a part of. Recent notable roles include playing William Stryker in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, Sam Adams in HBO’s “John Adams” and Marlow in “30 Days of Night”. Production on “Robin Hood” is underway now in the UK.
