There's only days to go until Marvel's highly-anticipated, wildly-lauded second Netflix series, Jessica Jones, goes live on the streaming platform, and while there's no official date set for Daredevil Season 2, Netflix has released a generous amount of teaser material since filming kicked off over the summer. With the first season of Luke Cage officially under way, and taking into account previous estimations of a six-month gap between Marvel debuts, it's looking like Daredevil's second season will be here before we know it, and if the latest teaser is any indication he might have a little more super-powered company this time around.

A brief video just popped up on the official Daredevil twitter account, promising "a new watering hole in Hell's Kitchen". Fans of the first season will remember Foggy and Karen getting sloshed in the local bar, Josie's; Nelson and Murdoch's favorite "shithole" where they get to drink for free...or absolutely do not get to drink for free, depending on who you ask. The new teaser video pans across the orange neon-lit sign for Josie's, reading "Welcome to Hell's Kitchen. Pick your poison," before revealing a new yellow-lit neon sign that reads: Luke's. Check it out for yourself below.

Now this could just be a bit of cross-promotion between Netflix shows, but the fact that the teaser debuted on the Daredevil twitter rather than the official Luke Cage account indicates there will be some crossover. Which is honestly to be expected. Cage will make his debut on Jessica Jones, which will also see an appearance from Rosario Dawson's Night Nurse, and if we're being real, probably at least one Daredevil and/or Matt Murdoch appearance as well. While Marvel remains cagey on the possibility of crossing their televised heroes over to the MCU proper, they've made no secret of the fact that they're building yet another shared universe on Netflix where the characters will ultimately form an Avengers-esque unit with The Defenders. Part of the lead-in to that team up will no doubt see the individual characters crossing over to each other's solo series along the way.
