Frank Castle is getting ready to pop a cap. Ahead of the season 2 premiere of Netflix’s Daredevil at the end of the week, Jon Bernthal has released a behind-the-scenes video and photo featuring his take on Punisher in full costume.

Marvel has been teasing fans with various promos and images of the actor in character, but here’s a look at how the sausage is made. Bernthal is seen firing off some rounds from a rooftop as New York City glows in the background. “One batch. Two batch. Penny and dime,” the actor wrote on Instagram, quoting an eerie line from the season 2 trailer that also appears on a children’s book in Castle’s home.

Check out the latest look at the Punisher costume and Bernthal’s impressive shooting skills in the video and photo below.

As teased in footage from Daredevil, the Punisher is a look at what the Man Without Fear could’ve been if he decided to kill instead of spare. The character even says to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), “You’re one bad day away from being me.” Showrunner Doug Petrie told Collider of Castle:

"Sympathy for the devil, in this case, is absolutely essential, but we can also guarantee that’s not the only thing you’ll be feeling. We’re very much looking forward to and are terrified by what we hope will come, which is a variety of responses to this guy. He’s more than one flavor, and he’s definitely more than one layer. We go deeper into what drives him, what his moral code is, what his contradictions are, what his methods are, and how people react to them, particularly Matt."

Bernthal joins a cast that includes Elodie Yung as Elektra, Deborah Anne Woll as Karen Page, and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Daredevil season 2 premieres on Netflix this Friday, March 18th.
