Some new images from the set of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises have surfaced. They’re nothing mind-blowing, as it’s just a couple of images of Gary Oldman all gussied up as James Gordon and another image of Batman on the Batpod. The Oldman pics are simply of him walking to set, so we don’t really have an idea of what type of scene he’s filming.
Hit the jump to check out the images, if you’re so inclined. The film also stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard and Michael Caine. The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th, 2012.

The last picture looks like it’s from TDK.
That’s because it’s the opening scene of the film.
It’s going to open with Batman being hunted, picking up exactly where it left off in The Dark Knight.

Actually, no, not true. This movie is taking place several years after TDK. Read some literature.
actually your both right, I’m working on it, the flick picks up exactly where TDK finished but jumps about 2 years to present day where batman is still being hunted but still doing his work in gotham while dodging police, building his legend which obviously reaches banes ears in prison and fuels his need to escape….*FACT* and thats all I’m saying

every batman film looks different. now i think Nolan and Pfister are going neon green on the “look”
I work in downtown LA and they have been filming multiple scenes here in the last few weeks. although I only watched them film scenes with Bale dressed a Wayne (walking with a cane and his arm in a sling). the tumbler was spotted down here but not the bike. That photo was taken across the street from my office and they were setting up to film there last Thursday so it is possible that pic is new.
and jordan i wouldn’t believe all that you read smart ass….read some literature…dont make me laugh.
