Hit the jump to check out the images.  If you missed Matt’s editorial in which he offers his prediction of how The Dark Knight Rises ends and where the Batman franchise can go from there, click here to give it a read.  The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th.

so catwoman is there when bane and batman fight on that bridge thing? interesting..

  • aaronsullivan

Wow. I’m trying so hard to like how Catwoman looks and I like Anne Hathaway and I just really don’t like the design of her mask, “ears”, whatever. Oh well. Maybe that’s the only flaw. :)

…F***! I love Batman! I just want to scream it from the roof tops. It’s the one franchise I hour they never stop rebooting every ten years (well 007 too…Michael Fassbender 2014)

Fassbender would be the perfect Bond after Craig. His turn in X-Men was a great audition for it.

    • Dan

Fassbender would make a kick-ass Batman

so i keep hearing everybody refer to batman’s “new suit” for TKDR, but that suit looks exactly the same as the one in the dark knight. has there been any changes?

In addition to your comment, I don’t see how a mask can hide Anne’s obvious facial features. I don’t see how she can run on top of a tank with six inch steel heels, and I don’t see how you can call her cat woman without a whip and claws. I believe in Anne, i just don’t believe in her scuba/stripper suit. :(

    Catwoman’s costume sucks ass

A long time ago they released the first photo of Hathaway in her Catwoman costume, and everyone said, “my god, this suit looks terrible.” Then she responded by saying that we were only seeing a small portion of what is actually going to be a really cool suit. Then a few dozen pictures later, the world responded with a resounding, “my god, this suit still looks terrible.”

Tom Hardy is the only thing I’m lookign forward to about this film. Everything else just seems so blah

The CATWOMAN costume looks cool, get over it.

Cat women looks like some Disney trash.
I hate it. CW is corny unless she is written, IMHO, as a total head case that escaped an abusive family life, bad boy friends and had multiple run ins with the law.
She should be a two faced, anti hero -like character.
She would hang around Bane for the excitement(bad boy lover) and then go to Batman with Bane’s secret plots only after BM gives her a thrill ride alongside his adventurous, vigilante lifestyle.
In the end she would betray Bane and love Batman but never enough to stay with him.
Complicated would be an understatement describing CW.

Dude, have you ever read the comic at all? You’ve got it all wrong. Catwoman is a survivor, an opportunist, and a rough, and she lives by her own code. Overall, she is and has always been a complicated, but ultimately good person. The reason why someone like Anne Hathaway is a great choice for Catwoman is that she can capture the duality of character – a beautiful woman that can entice, but a wounded rebel on the inside.

Read Selina’s Big Score, and come back when you know what you are talking about.

To me it feels like spiderman 3 all over again. Harry was finally supposed to turn into the green goblin and instead we get him half assed with the name New Goblin which is never reffered at all in he movie. His costume looked nothing like the goblin. Now same with catwoman. She barely resembles her and we get selina kyle instead of catwoman. ugh…

It looks to me like the fight scene could be in the bat cave – and that is where bane hurts batman to the point he can’t continue as batman for some time

The whole gritty reality based take on Batman has taken a huge left turn with this ridiculous Catwoman outfit.

No matter the plot or dialogue etc., this character will be standing there looking like Lee Meriweather or Julie Newmar’s campy step child…reminding everyone how preposterous the whole thing is.

Gouge your eyes out fanboys while you scream it’s not true…but you know it is.
