And here, we, go. The Dark Knight Rises viral campaign officially kicked off a couple of days ago, with a mysterious countdown added to the site yesterday for “Operation Early Bird.” This morning the nature of the countdown has been revealed as an opportunity to reserve passes to early screenings of The Dark Knight Rises prologue which will be attached to selected IMAX prints of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. The map on the site reveals screening locations for 10pm showings of the prologue on December 13th, a few days before the IMAX release of Mission: Impossible on December 16th.Head on over to www.operationearlybird.com to reserve your passes. As expected, the site is pretty overloaded at the moment, but patience is a virtue (or so I'm told). If you missed Steve’s 100% spoiler free video blog recap and  “10 Things to Know” from the Christopher Nolan-hosted screening of the prologue last night, click here. It’s a very good read and I assure you will not spoil the footage in any way. The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20th, 2012.
