I love the Bats v Bane one, like a comic panel come to life.

  • steve

wow, why add cheese to the great marketing they had been doing? Can’t wait for opening night.

  • Bat

The posters for this have been appalling. Let’s hope the money was put to good use somewhere else on the production.

  • Dmitriy

holy shit they must be joking…

  • ozzie

    catwoman looks aweful …

    • Jazzy Jace

      Ethan, your spelling is AWFUL.

  • Andres

They made Bane look far more muscular and vascular than he is in the movie. IMO misreprestenting such a defining trait of the character against how it will actually play in the film just takes away from it, unless the gas that the vest injects into his mask actually has the depicted effect on him. Otherwise, they’re overselling it in the poster, in a sense…

  • filmmaniac111

Guys obviously these are needed to make the kids watch it. More kids= bigger box office.
The other posters are good, but the theatrical one sucks

  • adrian

my god, they look f#$cking awful. hopefully the movie will do fine

  • Deepak

That Catwoman poster is a joke…

    • Strong Enough

      like your life

      • KnowOne

Um, we are all waiting for this movie, which means all of our lives are a joke. You might be able to say that the Joker is right, that life’s a joke, lol!

  • BOF!

These are those expensive boutique toys. It’s more obvious in the poster of Bane facing camera, he looks like a miniature. They look uncanny.

  • Pocketses

So…those are ****ing awful….the marketing for this film has been just god damned awful.

    • Black Widow

No. these posters are awful but the rest of the marketing are really good.

      • dark one

They do look very cartoonish….I like the one’s were you cant see their eyes. The dark ones…..still this movie will kick some serious ass.

  • Jamesy

These are collectors items or something right? If not then wth…the posters look ridiculous?! Bane is far more jacked up than we’ve previously been led to believe!

  • Aix

Bane’s arms are scaring me big time.

  • Ethan

    These are awful.

  • Ethan

I’m pretty sure that last Batman one isn’t even Christian Bale.

I just sat through the hugely disappointing Prometheus, and all I kept thinking is, Damn Tom Hardy has creepy eyes. Super sinister looking even when he’s playing a nice guy. Nolan sure knows how to pick ‘em.

    • Jamesy

Ummm, what does prometheus have to do with TDKR?

      • Miles Bennett Dyson

Dog thinks the dude in Prometheus was Tom Hardy, common mistake. The actor in question is Logan Marshall-Green.

  • The Truth

You guys are restarted looking way too much onto this. There’s a whole bunch of promo pictures out already. These recent ones were aim to be fun with a little bit of a comic look to it. Of course they don’t look like that in the movie you dumb fucks. Wow! Stop trying to find something to bitch at just to feel important. With or without Promo pics I can tell this movie is going to be great.

  • Stevy

Dude the guy in Prometheus ain’t tom hardy! He looks like his twin tho

  • GET OVER IT!

haha oh dear, childish and cheesy! They were doing so well with marketing then they release this action figure packaging artwork. Make them go away!

Wow, those are some hideously designed posters. I’m guessing that Christopher Nolan didn’t approve these.

  • Dannyboy3030

Looks like Batman missed pretty big with that left cross.

The great thing about Nolan’s “THE BATMAN” is his more realistic, adult take on the character.

But it always seems to be at odds with Warner Bros’ Licensing/Marketing Department, which always insists on taking a more kid’s Marketing approach as these films’ come close to release. I feel it totally detracts from Nolan’s vision.

These posters are absolute proof of that.

They look like the covers of those “TDKR” little children’s books I recently spotted at TARGET.

  • Jahanzeb

The people behind the posters have done such a lame job (though they did come up with some great banners). I wonder why, especially given that both TDK and later Inception got such awesome posters. But for TDKR, nearly all the posters are either lame or totally suck. They could not still come up with a single great poster for TDKR, while for TDK and Inception there were plenty.

  • Endastory

This is are NOT official, it’s clear to anyone who hasn’t been lobotomised that these are fan made.

    • Jay Wilson

Read the last paragraph…those are official mate.

      • Endastory

They really, really don’t look official. The high q poster picture watermark and the fact that these posters are just composites of other pictures photoshopped (badly). They may be promoting figurines or something along those lines but there’s no way they’re coming direct from Nolan’s camp. He’d vomit all over these, that might actually be an improvement.

  • themilkman

Obviously fake, save for the 3 at the bottom

  • Sean Brazell

Good god, is it just me, or do these posters look more like they were made for Batman and Robin (with Val Kilmer) rather than the current Nolan Batman films?!
