New videos from the set of The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel have leaked online. Neither video has huge spoilers (Joseph Gordon-Levitt carrying a gas can in TDRK; People running in MOS) , but I recommend watching the one for Man of Steel because it’s unintentionally hilarious. You have a guy hiding in the tall grass with his cell phone recording awful-quality video. A pixelated figure gets out of a car and the guy recording it identifies the pixel-man as Kevin Costner. Then people start running in the opposite direction. I’m not sure what’s crazier: how far studios are willing to go to protect spoiling their movies or how far fans are willing to go to reveal those spoilers.
Hit the jump for the set videos. The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20, 2012. Man of Steel opens June 14, 2013.

JGL was visible before in the Bane vs. Batman photos. He was a young cop getting knocked to the side
That wasn’t him. That was some Asian extra.
Woooo! The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel are going to be huge! I’ll be going on opening night with all the girls! Here come the girls! (Girls, Girls, Girls, Girls) OH YEAH BABY!!!
Treated myself to a Thai massage today that felt sooo good and afterwards, people kept stopping me on the street to say, ‘Oh my God, you’re glowing.’
Not sure what’s crazier: Goldberg’s quest to spoil movies, or his posturing about how he’s above it.
I don’t understand why they are letting people get this close to the filming? You would think that the production crew wouldn’t want to have the movie spoiled, like it’s being spoiled now. I mean, I am going to watch the movie regardless, but I just don’t get why they are allowing all of these videos show up online.
so dissapointed hes not the joker. would of been a great way to keep the character going.
That would have been awful. And a disgrace to Heath Ledger’s memory.
why would it be a disgrace to ledgers memory? dont get me wrong he was a fantastic actor and played the joker incredibly well but a character is a character…….. let somebody else have a go, im sure the joker will be back somepoint
Because Heath Ledger owned the role completely and it’s HIS role now, his Joker is iconic and it’s so obvious that anyone who follows in the footsteps of that has NO chance. And Ledger put so much time and energy into the character and he clearly loved the role so much that it should just be left alone, 100 percent in Nolan’s Batman series, because Ledger is the Joker in Nolan’s series, nobody else. If you can’t see why it would be disrespectful to recast his role in the next sequel just because he’s dead then you are an idiot. Not to mention that although he probably would have come back for a sequel for a small role atleast, the Joker still had a beginning a middle and an end. His story was complete. It would have been amazing to see him again though. “I think you and i are destined to do this forever.”
The crappiest and most ironic point is that the Joker is still alive in the Nolan-verse and Two-Face isn’t. Even though Nolan could not have known better, it was a huge waste killing off Harvey Dent’s character.
strange how much JGL looks similar to Holiday.
Upon reading your comment I quickly grabbed my long halloween copy and took a look myself. There are subtle similarities I guess. He just had to put on some thin glasses and he almost looks like the character.
Unintentionally hilarious. Sounds like classic Matt Goldberg sarcasm.
