Now that the summer’s first giant superhero movie has burst into theaters, it’s time to take our short attention spans and turn them over to the remaining two superhero flicks: The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises. Audiences aren’t sure what to expect from The Amazing Spider-Man, but fans are excited out of their minds to see Christopher Nolan‘s final Batman movie. Although the movie is over two months away, Warner Bros. has already started rolling out merchandise. In December, we showed you a Bane shirt Warner Bros. had sent out as part of the film’s viral campaign. Now you can buy that shirt for the ridiculous price of $48 along with other overpriced geek couture. If you’re considering buying the wife-beater featuring Bane and pink lightning bolts, may I suggest burning your money instead? You won’t look as stupid, and you’ll be warmer.

It’s weird that one of the shirts has the “Heart of Hush” artwork. Are they going to kill catwoman in TDKR?
Whoa, she definitely looks pretty dead in that artwork, especially given the way Batman’s carrying her, with her head craned back limply.

Yeah, the Heart of Hush thing is weird. That makes no sense to me
WTF? Were they designed in an afternoon by a highschool screen printing class? The designs are muddy and the print work is cheap looking. If that is the ” style” they were going for, they are mistaken if the they think I will pay anything over $5 for any of those shirts. I might as well make one by myself. How could it possibly look any worse?
I don’t know if it’s worse they sell these before anyone knows enough about the characters to decide they want to wear them, or that they release such hideously tacky garbage.
