A couple of days ago we reported the news that director David R. Ellis (The Final Destination, Snakes on a Plane) was getting ready to helm The Genesis Code starring Hayden Christensen. However, Variety is now reporting the director has lined up another film called Shark Night. The 3D thriller will be written by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes and will “revolve around a group of college friends at a lake, only to discover that danger lurks beneath its waters.” It’s still unclear if The Genesis Code or the more awesome sounding Shark Night 3D will come next for Ellis.
