20th Century Fox has done a good job linking Deadpool’s marketing to current events, like the Merc with a Mouth making a football-related comment to kick off (pun intended) a new TV spot that ran during the NFL playoffs. Though most of the trailer contains footage we’ve seen before, there are a few new scenes to check out, including Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) hanging off the side of what looks like a tanker.

Last month, Ed Skrein mentioned a clash between his character Ajax and Deadpool that takes place on the deck of a crashed airship. If this is that, he described the scene as,

“Ryan’s like Muhammad Ali, dancing around, whispering in my ear, and I’m George Foreman. Every blow is like a haymaker and I just want to take his head off.”

Reynolds followed-up with,

“Ed got yoked for the movie. I saw his arms and got pretty upset at myself for not working out harder.”

Check out the new TV spot below. Deadpool also stars Morena Baccarin (Copycat),T.J. Miller (Weasel), Gina Carano (Angel Dust), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), and Leslie Uggams (Blind Al). Deadpool will debut in theaters on February 12th.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
