The long-running Showtime series Dexter finally came to an end this summer with the wildly disappointing conclusion of its eighth season, but if you never sprung for Showtime or have a desire to revisit the show, you can do so just in time for the Halloween holiday. Netflix announced today that it struck a deal with CBS to stream all eight seasons of Dexter on Instant Watch, with the first four seasons becoming available on October 31st. Seasons five through eight will then be available to stream starting January 1st, but really that’s where the quality drops off so you’d be forgiven for just watching the first four seasons and leaving it be. Nevertheless, Dexter becoming available on demand is certainly a swell treat.
