By most accounts, last year’s attempt to bring the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books to the screen resulted in a moderately charming family film. Diary grossed enough on a responsible budget to merit a sequel, Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules. Zachary Gordon, Devon Bostick, Rachael Harris, and Steve Zahn return as the Heffleys. David Bowers (Astro Boy) directs from a script by Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs (90210). Rodrick Rules is due March 25th, six days after the first film bowed in 2010. The first Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie was a smash Hit! The Trailer for the new movie is really funny and looks to be even better than the frist! We really enjoyed the first movie and we are all looking forward to seeing “The Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick Rules”!!
Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie was great! Our whole family loved it. We saw the trailer for the new sequel, Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2, Rodrick Rules, and that also looks to be another big hit. These movies are wonderful for any age group, especially adults who can relate to the difficult experiences shared from that time of our lives. We will pass on most of the movies coming out this year, but not Wimpy Kid.
This movie was a big “underrated” hit. The first movie was real- fun entertainment and we are looking forward to the sequel….can’t wait!
