Here’s kind of a surprise: the Dirty Grandpa trailer isn’t as “dirty” as you might expect, though it has that raunchy Neighbors and Jump Street-esque vibe going on. So perhaps there’s a more red-band version that hasn’t yet hit the airwaves. Nevertheless, if you’re a fan of Zac Efron’s Baywatch-worthy pecs and lines like, “I just smoked crack,” then you’ll want to sneak a peek.

The first Dirty Grandpa trailer (via Lionsgate) flaunts the dichotomy of the preppy but gorgeous Efron and his foulmouthed old-timer co-star Robert De Niro. Most of us probably have grandpas who say some pretty crazy things, but De Niro’s Dick (no, that’s his name) says stuff like, “Party until you’re pregnant,” and, “The greatest gift a grandson can give his grandfather is a hot college girl who wants to have unprotected sex with him before he dies.” If you think that’s inappropriate, then you won’t want to see him squirt suntan lotion on Aubrey Plaza’s chest.

The film seems to be trying to capitalize on Efron’s growing bro-y persona and the audience that follows, including those drooling over his shirtless selfies. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to gauge whether this will be more like a Seth Rogen raunch-fest or something like the disappointing and mildly offensive Vacation. Dirty Grandpa is screenwriter John Phillips’ first time up to bat for a feature film, though director Dan Mazer has grappled with his share of cinematic shenanigans as producer on The Dictator, Bruno, and Borat. Despite the talent and subject matter, the trailer doesn’t stand out all that much from everything else in the comedic genre, so we’ll have to see what else it can churn out to pique our interest.

The film will hit theaters January 22, 2016.
