Fans of Veronica Roth’s YA novel Divergent will be incredibly pleased to know that Summit has finally released the first image of Theo James (Downton Abbey) as the film’s male lead, Four.  For those unfamiliar, the story takes place in a futuristic society where people are divided into factions based on their personalities, and Shailene Woodley’s Tris is a young girl who doesn’t fit into any of the pre-assigned groups and faces grave consequences due to her status as a “Divergent.”  It’s a surprisingly compelling story set in a fascinating dystopian world, and I’m eager to see director Neil Burger’s (Limitless) take on the material.  The role of Four is extremely pivotal to the story and the producers took a considerable amount of time to find the right actor, and James certainly looks the part based on this first look image.  I recently got the chance to visit the set and while I can’t say much, I was definitely impressed by what I saw.
