DJANGO UNCHAINED Round-Up: First Clip, New Images, and New TV Spot

A batch of funstuffs from writer/director Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Django Unchained has landed online.  Don Johnson appeared on The Tonight Show last night, where he debuted the first clip from Tarantino’s highly anticipated (that’s an understatement) Western.  The clip is downright great, as we see Jamie Foxx’s Django and Christoph Waltz’s Colonel Shultz riding up to an estate owned by a very Colonel Sanders-esque Johnson.  December 25th simply cannot get here soon enough.

Hit the jump to check out the clip, as well as a new TV spot and a couple of new images.  The film also stars Kerry Washington, Leonard DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, M.C. Gainey, Walton Goggins, Garrett Dillahunt, Dennis Christopher, Gerald McRaney, Laura Cayouette, and Tom Savini.  Django Unchained opens on Christmas Day.

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.
