We can now confirm that Donal Logue will indeed by joining the new Fox series, Gotham, as "Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, the rough-around-the-edges Detective Harvey Bullock [who] plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results … and he does it with old-school, forceful panache."  When I think "forceful panache", I think Donal Logue (but seriously, he's a great fit for the part).  Logue joins Ben McKenzie in the lead role as Detective James Gordon, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin).Scripted by Bruno Heller, Gotham explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon and the above-mentioned villains that made Gotham famous.  Danny Cannon will direct and executive produce the pilot.  Hit the jump for news on Michelle Fairley joining 24: Live Another Day.TV Line reports michelle-fairley-24-live-another-daythat Fairley will replace Judy Davis in 24: Live Another Day, a 12-episode series featuring the return of Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer.  "The London-based event series picks up years later with Jack, now an exile, being tracked by CIA operations head Steve Harris (Benjamin Bratt), agent Kaye Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), computer tech Jordan Reed (Giles Matthey) and field operative Erik Ritter (Gbenga Akinnagbe)."  Fairley, best known as Catelyn Stark on HBO's Game of Thrones, will star in the recurring role of "Margot, a British national and the widow of a notorious terrorist."  (Hopefully that terrorist will be played by Sean Bean.)  Davis recently left the project citing personal reasons.
