With the simple conceit behind The Expendables (all your favorite action stars under one roof!), the only place left to go is... invite more action stars.  The rumored additions for the sequel include John Travolta, Chuck Norris, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, plus more screen time for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis alongside original stars Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, and Terry Crews.  The latest talk should excite martial arts geeks, as Twitch hears producer Avi Lerner offered Yen a "tailor-made" role in The Expendables 2.  As of this writing, the offer is still on table.  A spokesperson says Yen is considering a number of projects, and will wait to see the script before he decides.

This would not be Yen's first exposure to Hollywood, after working on Blade II and Shanghai Knights around the turn of the century.  But he's made a bigger name for himself back in Hong Kong as the star of the Ip Man films.  Yen would be a fine addition to the cast, especially if "tailor-made" means "fight partner for Jet Li."  Stallone and his peers are still in very good shape, but mostly inept when it comes to wushu.
