The Crawley family is set to return for the third series of Downton Abbeythis fall (unless you live in the States, in which case you have to wait until the New Year). Two new trailers have dropped in anticipation of the hit series’ return: one from Britain’s ITV and one from PBS. The Golden Globe-winning series from Julian Fellowes stars Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Rob James-Collier and many more in this outstanding ensemble cast. From the pen of award-winning writer Julian Fellowes comes the second series of ITV1’s costume drama, Downton Abbey, starring Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern.
The new series will be set in 1920 and 1921, and the drama will cover a period of 18 months in the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them.
In the first Red Nose Day special on American shores (benefitting the charity Comic Relief), celebrities such as Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant, Anna Kendrick, and even Kermit the Frog all showed up to participate in the live telecast.
