Dragon Con 2015 has now come and gone, and it was another great year for fans congregating in downtown Atlanta over Labor Day to cosplay, see a parade, and completely nerd out together. One of the reasons why I love Dragon Con is that it's 100% fan-oriented, even down to the fact that it's organized and run by volunteers. It just has a great vibe -- everyone is positive and friendly, and it's fun to make new friends in line or at panels for some of your favorite TV shows, books, games, and whatever else. (And seriously whatever else -- Dragon Con is home to some really obscure fandoms).
One of the things that best defines Dragon Con (and baffles denizens downtown who do not know what's going on) is the quality cosplay, which you'll find a sample of below (apologies for some blurriness here and there, hotel atrium lighting isn't super conducive to getting great shots!) I've also enlisted the help of some of my talented cosplaying friends who happened to snap some great shots of their own, and you can find their pics in the mix as well, along with a few celebrity cameos ...
