Yesterday we brought you a new image of Game of Thrones star Lena Headey as Ma-Ma in director Pete Travis’ reboot Dredd, along with a few quotes from the actress regarding her character.  Now a few more images from the film have surfaced online, giving us another look at Karl Urban as the titular Judge Dredd as well as co-stars Olivia Thirlby, Langly Kirkwood, and Deobia Oparei.  I still really have no idea what to expect from this film, so hopefully a trailer is on the way soon.  I like Urban and Headey quite a bit, and Olivia Thirlby is a promising prospect as Dredd’s trusty sidekick.  Moreover, the pic has been described as a major departure from the Sylvester Stallone-fronted 1995 adaptation, so at least we’re in for something decidedly different.

Hit the jump to check out the images.  Dredd opens in 3D on September 21st.

  1. I’m moderately interested in this project, kinda like the Total Recall re-boot. I want to see a trailer for this before I’ll pledge to hand over my money and time, though.

  2. I’m expecting this movie to come and go from the theaters in 3 weeks and be on video before Christmas. I’ll probably watch it at 2 AM on cable some night I can’t sleep.

  3. Half of these photos have been out since last year and the rest were out months ago.

Does nobody ever do any research for the web anymore?

  4. Looks cool. Less like the Brian Bolland-drawn Dredd (which I usually prefer) , but it shows they’re really aiming for the classic depiction of him & Mega-City One, which I’m certainly interested in seeing realized on Screen.

But will they have the MEAN MACHINE???

  5. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

these are not new pictures, give us a trailer already dammit! The marketing for this film is severely lacking. not even a teaser poster? meh

  6. Look more like dredd when he first started back in 1977 in 2000ad comic, look like it could be a good film. The question is are they setting us up for a judge death film if it dose well ?
