Zach Galifianakis’ star is on the rise, and every glimpse I get at Todd Phillips’ upcoming comedy Due Date seems to reinforce that reality. Teaming the bearded child with Robert Downey Jr., was a great move, and the new international trailer that hit today showcases more of the craziness that we can all look forward to this fall. While the new trailer recycles a lot of footage seen in the original, this one starts off with a bang. The first 40 seconds showcases new footage so hit the jump to check out the trailer.  Due Date opens November 5th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Due Date:

“Peter Highman is an expectant first-time father whose wife’s due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan–on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter’s last nerve.”

thats funny how they removed the “you better check yourself before you wreck yourself” line because Europeans probably wouldn’t understand the reference.

They removed the nude beach reference as well

I must be one of the few who hasn’t seen the hangover doesn’t (appeal that much) but Galifianakis is great in HBO’s ‘Bored to death’. Trailer looks quite promising.

Hywel, this movie is probably going to be the same as Hangover (it looks the same judging by the trailer).
