Comedy sequels are very tricky to pull off, but directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly will be giving it their best shot with the follow-up Dumb and Dumber To this fall.  The first official image from the film has been released online, and I can’t stop laughing because it’s just so dumb—which is the point.  Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles from the 1994 film as Lloyd and Harry set out on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had.  It’s a simple premise, but the real promise of this film is seeing Carrey and Daniels back in the roles that helped launched them to superstardom.

Hit the jump to check out the image.  The film also stars Laurie Holden and Rob RiggleDumb and Dumber To opens November 14th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Dumb and Dumber To:

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To.  The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.
