Though production is already underway in Atlanta, the cast continues to fill out for Peter and Bobby Farrelly’s sequel Dumb and Dumber ToJim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles from the 1994 comedy classic in a story that finds them searching for Harry’s long-lost daughter in the hopes of having her donate a kidney.  In the past few days, we’ve seen that the follow-up will feature returns from Billy (pretty bird, pretty bird) and possibly Sea Bass (kick his ass!), but THR reports that Rob Riggle is also poised to join the cast as two new characters.  Riggle will play twins, “a handyman named Travis and his unstable brother, Captain Lippencott.”

Other actors onboard to play new characters in the follow-up include Kathleen Turner, Rachel Melvn, Steve Tom, and female lead Laurie HoldenDumb and Dumber To is headed towards a likely summer 2014 release. [Update: Now word has come that a very popular Oscar winner has shot a secret cameo in the film.  If you want to know who it is, hit the jump.]

THR reports that Jennifer Lawrence spent one day on the set of Dumb and Dumber To and shot a cameo for the film as a young version of Turner’s character.  Lawrence is currently also in Atlanta filming the two-part finale The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2, and THR adds that the millennial cast of the Hunger Games film visited the Dumb and Dumber To set in what I can only imagine was a moment of pure glee.  Details regarding Turner’s character are currently unknown, but it’ll definitely be fun to see Lawrence show up onscreen in the comedy follow-up.
