Over the past week, Warner Bros. has been slowly releasing pictures of all the dwarves in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.  As a massive fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, my interest in The Hobbit borders on the crazy.  It’s easily one of my most anticipated movies and everything I’ve seen so far tells me we’re going to get something awesome. 1. That’s very cool to see them all in one picture. I’m not surprised by the good costumes, makeup and weaponry. Great job as usual by the Hobbit crew.

  2. Kili seems to have two left hands… I’ve not read the book so I’m not sure if it’s on purpose. Seems unlikely though… other than that – looking good!

  3. Jed Brophy has had a cameo in pretty much every Peter Jackson film, so good to see him in a bigger role.
    Looks amazing.

  4. Steve, man, just wanted to say thanks for all that you do on here – love looking forward to your posts and your great taste/knowledge in movies. Keep it up buddy!

  5. Incredible! The Hobbit movies are my most anticipated releases for 2012 and 2013. Peter Jackson is the man and I hope he’ll deliver two more classics!

  6. They look like they were characters taken from the Final Fantasy world and placed into what will probably be a really good movie.

  8. ….big fan of JRR Tolkien classics, really looking forward to this film! i hope Peter Jackson can do a series on the Silmarillon in this lifetime ^^

    • May God hear you! ( and Peter Jackson also. ^^) that is my wish also. He can start with “the Children of Húrin”.

  9. Even after looking at all released pictures of each dwarve, I´m still in awe of the fantastical and stylized look of all 13 dwarves. They look like some drawings from a fantasy book with pictures, but still they are flesh and blood. And the weapons and costumes are so cool and unique. Can´t wait to see the two movies with all the wargs, eagles, trolls, spiders and SMAUG of course. This movie is going to rule everything.
