Dwayne Johnson is having a very good year at the box office, but the action star is showing no signs of slowing down. In addition to his franchise roles, Johnson continues to take on other projects that interest him. One of those side movies he's currently filming is director Rawson Marshall Thurber's comedy, Central Intelligence. The film finds Johnson starring alongside Kevin Hart who plays a mild-mannered accountant contacted by a former classmate (Johnson) before their upcoming class reunion. Turns out that Johnson's character, a former target for school bullies, is now a CIA contract killer, and he needs Hart's help to foil a plan to sell military secrets.

Sounds pretty ridiculous, in the best kind of way. Hart's obviously a big box office draw when it comes to comedies and lately Johnson's absolute gold no matter what the genre is. This picture sounds like a perfect blend of action and comedy for the two of them, and I can't wait to see them share the same frame.

Check out Johnson's first look at his character "Bob" from Central Intelligence:

A blast crafting and creating this dude... The inspiration behind this character "Bob" has always been Tom Hanks in "BIG" with an added twist. He's a grown man who's extremely childlike and views the world thru exuberant and enthusiastic teenage eyes... Loves to wear his favorite Public Enemy shirt, cargo pants and sneakers to work.. and rocks a fanny pack which holds his Bruce Lee quotes and a condom (he's always prepared). The "added twist" is Bob has an extremely high IQ and is one of the most lethal men on the planet as a C.I.A. contract killer. Oh the most important character trait.. He hates bullies. Can't wait for y'all to meet "Bob". #FightThePower #BeWaterMyFriend #FannyPackYetDeadly CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE. SUMMER 2016. A photo posted by therock (@therock) on
