Aftershock, also starring Selena Gomez, Andrea Osvart and Ariel Levy, was recently picked up by Dimension.  Be sure to check out some images from the film here.  Here’s the synopsis, followed by the first clip from Aftershock:

Chile has it all: gorgeous landscapes, smokin’- hot women, cool dudes, great wine, and the wildest parties. For a hapless American tourist, nicknamed Gringo (Eli Roth) by his two Chilean pals Ariel (Ariel Levy) and Pollo (Nicolás Martínez), the trip has been heaven on earth — except that he just can’t hook up with the ladies. Gringo’s luck seems to change when the group meets a trio of babes — Russian model Irina (Natasha Yarovenko), non-stop party girl Kylie (Lorenza Izzo) and her serious sister Monica (Andrea Osvárt) — who agree to accompany them on a trip to the coastal town of Valparaíso. The new friends are having the best of times whooping it up in a dance club, until a violent earthquake brings the entire city down around them. With this one-time paradise now a landscape of death and destruction that’s seething with terror and panic, our unlucky heroes must run for their lives from looters, escaped convicts, and the inevitable aftershocks.

Yeah, the “Splat Pack” doing a disaster movie based on 2010′s Chile quake is simply not gonna work, has B Movie written all over it, just another excuse for some gore, to use two bit actresses who can only look fit but will act appallingly. Tom and Jerry will have a more human element than this film will have. Its a completly different kind of movie to what they are all do used to doing, dont see it working, i’ll wait for San Andreas 3D and JJ Abrams Earthquake I think!!

Yeah this movie has B Movie written all over it. I mean the “Splat Pack” doing a movie based on the 8.8 Chile quake 2010, never gonna work, it’ll take the piss out of a serious disaster in a bad way. It just an excuse for Eli and co. to have more blood and gore & fit “actresses” who are only good at lookin fit but cannot act to save their lives.

Tom and Jerry have more than a human element than this will have! Think I’ll wait for SA:3D and JJ Abrams Earthquake thanks!!
