Though he took some time off from directing following the release of Hostel: Part II in 2007, filmmaker Eli Roth doesn’t seem keen on taking a similar breather before his next project.  The director most recently helmed the 2013 cannibalism movie The Green Inferno, and now The Wrap reports that he will direct the horror pic Knock Knock, which he co-wrote with his Aftershock collaborators Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo AmoedaKnock Knock revolves around two young girls who unexpectedly show up at the home of a married man, where they subsequently seduce him and wreak havoc on his life.  Production on the $10 million film is set to get underway in April, though no casting has been announced just yet.

While Roth took a break from directing for a bit, he stayed busy as a producer in the years after Hostel: Part II on films like The Last Exorcism and The Man with the Iron Fists.  A sequel to The Green Inferno is currently moving forward, though Roth won't direct this time around; he'll remain involved as a producer while co-writer Nicolas Lopez takes the helm of Beyond the Green Inferno.  Roth also serves as executive producer of the Netflix horror series Hemlock Grove.
