Hit the jump for much more.

Heat Vision reports that Wood has joined the indie thriller Grand Piano, written by Damien Chazelle (Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench) and directed by Eugenio Mira (Agnosia). The plot centers around a gifted concert pianist who returns to perform after a five-year hiatus due to stage fright.  Before he starts playing, he notices a strange message written on his sheet music, one that forces him to play the best concert of his life in order to keep him and his wife alive. Production is scheduled to start late this summer with filming in Ciudad de la Luz Studios in Alicante, Spain and a week in Chicago.  Rodrigo Cortes and Adrien Guerra, both involved with the Ryan Reynolds' film Buried, will produce.

Brosnan will star alongside Owens in The Coup, directed by John Erick Dowdle (Devil) from a script he co-wrote with brother Drew Dowdle. The story involves a rebellious coup in Southeast Asia that ensnares an American family who recently moved to the area.  Brosnan will play a "mysterious and ultimately heroic government operative." Wilson is set to play the father of the family.  Regarding the script, producers Adam Ripp and Rob Paris said:

"We love the relentless energy of the Dowdle Brothers’ script – and their vision for dropping Owen in the midst of the chaos is truly inspired.”

Producer Steve Alexander continued:

“When I first read the Dowdles’ screenplay, I was immediately taken with how strongly it taps into that primal fear which any parent can relate to, when it comes to the safety and protection of their family.”

Production is slated to start in October.
