Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda is well on his way to earning the title of best living human. Wait, that's not an official title? We're going to need to make it one. The man is non-stop. Not only is Miranda the mind behind one of our generation's most revolutionary and brilliant pieces of theater, he's the composer of The Force Awakens' cantina song, an infectiously enthusiastic proponent for arts and equality who just freestyled at the White House, and now he's also the guy who gave the world Emma Watson beatboxing.

On International Women's Day, Miranda sat down for an interview with Watson in honor of UN Women and HeForShe's Arts Week, and when Watson asked him to do one of his signature freestyles, he agreed to do so on one condition -- she had to be the one to drop the beat. The result is genuinely fantastic.

Emma Watson, Drop The BeatAnd here's a SHORT clip of Emma Watson beatboxing while I freestyle about #HeForShe, if you only have 3 minutes. This was so fun. Posted by Lin-Manuel Miranda on Thursday, March 17, 2016

But the fun didn't stop there. Miranda, who's transcended Broadway's somewhat limited and esoteric reach by making himself incredibly accessible to fans on social media, is well aware of the tremendous crossover between Hamilton and Harry Potter fans. (The play mashes up just about perfect with any heroes tale, really.) Miranda asked Watson to sort Hamilton's primary cast members into Hogwarts houses, and of course, she responded with true Hermione analysis and introspection.

Sorting Hamilton into Hogwarts with Emma WatsonI talked to Emma Watson for #HeforShe, but not before sorting Hamilton the Musical characters into Hogwarts houses. Full interview coming up later today! Posted by Lin-Manuel Miranda on Thursday, March 17, 2016

You can check out the whole interview on Emma Watson's Facebook. And you should, because it's a great conversation between two talented folks who are as delightful as they are intelligent.
