It’s been over a decade since a new Jurassic Park movie opened in theaters, but the franchise IP is so fruitful that there’s been no lack of JP merchandise on the shelves over the years. However, the release of director Colin Trevorrow’s sequel Jurassic World provides Universal Pictures and Hasbro with an opportunity to unveil new merch for new dinosaurs.
One of the centerpieces of Jurassic World is the hybrid dinosaur Indominous Rex, which is a DNA hodgepodge that includes traits of both the T. rex and the velociraptor. In anticipation of the film’s release, a number of new Jurassic World toys—including the Indominous Rex—have been released, and we here at Collider would like to highlight a few of them by offering a free collection of toys to one very lucky reader.
The winner of our Jurassic World giveaway will win a collection of Hasbro JW toys that includes the following:
- Indominous Rex Dinosaur
- Chomping Dino Head Hand Puppet
- Raptor Claws (!)
- Raptor Assortment
- Brawlasaurs Versus Pack
- Jurassic World Heroes Mashers Hybrid Mash Pack
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
I may or may not have these toys at my disposal, so I may be able to confirm that they’re a lot of fun—especially the raptor claws. Moreover, the Indominous Rex figure is a bit of a throwback, as it has a squishy flesh that harkens back to the original Jurassic Park toys that allowed you to “feel” the inside of the dinosaur.
