It is, with the exception of The Match Game, the greatest idea in the history of great ideas not called The Match Game.  From Tim League, the man who brought you The Alamo Drafthouse, hands down the coolest movie theater in the country, comes The Rolling Roadshow.

Armed only with an inflatable screen and a grand sense of showmanship, League will be screening twelve (12) iconic movies in twelve (12) locales of central importance to each movie.  Ever wanted to see The Last Picture Show in Archer, Texas?  Now's your chance!  Ever yearned to take in Once Upon a Time in the West in Monument Valley?  Yearn no longer!  Ever dreamed of dodging low flying crop dusters while watching North by Northwest in Bakersfield?  You're fuckin' goofy, but here's your opportunity.

Because I'm without an insane amount of disposable income (though that could change any day provided I hit my numbers), I've had to single out one event to attend.  But it's a doozy.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind at Devils Freakin' Tower.

Head over to the Rolling Roadshow website to get your tickets now.  If you're without sense, I'll see you up in Wyoming this September 3rd.
